Publication Frequency

The Indonesian Journal of Islamic Law (IJIL) is published biannually, with issues released consistently in June and December each year. Each issue publishes six (6) original research articles as its core scholarly content. The number of research articles per issue is fixed and not subject to variation, ensuring editorial consistency, quality control, and citation stability.

In addition to research articles, an issue may include a limited number of supplementary contributions, such as review essays (book reviews) and practical notes (research notes), which are published separately from and in addition to the core research articles. These supplementary contributions do not affect the fixed number of research articles per issue and are not considered primary research outputs for citation or indexing purposes.

IJIL maintains strict adherence to its publication schedule and article composition policy to ensure regularity, transparency, and editorial discipline, in accordance with the Principles of Transparency and Best Practice in Scholarly Publishing (COPE, DOAJ, WAME, OASPA).
